Matt Rowan Design is a multidisciplinary branding, interiors, lighting, and strategy studio, led by chief creative officer Matt Rowan.
With over 25 years of award-winning experience with global design firms, renowned brands, and high-end private clientele, Matt brings unparalleled insight and a unique human-centered approach to every project, whether it’s a complex stadium wayfinding system, sports photography, a custom embroidered fabric pattern, or a small, one-off commemorative vase.
How we work.
We research your unique project needs, starting with more straightforward, easy to determine hard data. We never design to a style- we design to your unique DNA.
Using exercises and methods developed through countless projects, we then determine more complex and nuanced project needs, focusing on the “why” of your project.
Based on our findings, we’ll synthesize initial ideas and concepts, utilizing a human-factor based approach, to develop multiple viable design solutions tailored to your specific needs.
Once we land on a direction that feels right, we’ll refine, expand, and hone your specific design solution to create something that feels right- something you love.
Your final product, regardless of scale, type, or application, will be 100% unique to you. And we never gatekeep our process; you’ll be as much of an expert about your design as we are.
