Designing for the new EU Delegation in Washington, DC provided a rare opportunity to help shape how the European Union presents itself on one of the world’s most prominent diplomatic stages. As an integrated member of the interior design team, we collaborated to create an environment that exudes timeless european modernism, precise detailing, and a deep appreciation for the cultural richness of the Union’s member states.

Our work focused on a suite of custom graphic and architectural installations that artfully expressed the EU’s identity and story with clarity and sophistication. Highlights included abstract glass satellite maps of Europe transitioning from dawn to nightfall, a four-story filigree pattern derived from the Euro symbol, custom glass frits, and a café installation celebrating the languages of all member nations.

The experience culminated in a glittering glass display of flags representing every member state, paired with a backlit timeline tracing the Union’s evolution, making the public-facing approach to the first floor press room a celebration of cooperation, diversity, and collective identity.
