Bringing new meaning to the idea of mixed use workspaces.Workplace, performance, and production studios all under one roof.
The new HQ for Audacy (formerly Entercom) in downtown Philadelphia provided an opportunity to challenge the idea of traditional workplaces.
As a part of the core team developing the project concept and initial plans, we brought the energy of live performance, broadcast, and pop culture into a single, unforgettable experience. Core to the design concept was a visual depiction of a soundwave, manifesting as audio levels in the entry lobby, echoing outward at a dynamic “nexus” with a jumbotron and concert-inspired lighting, and resonating with a richly curated custom art and graphic program in every conference room.
Never before has the workproduct been so inextricably linked with the workplace, with movable glass partitions, integrated audio and lighting systems, and built-in seating allowing for vibrant live performances as part of the everyday routine.
